Minimal prep veneers involve slightly adjusting your teeth to fit thin sheets of porcelain over the front of your teeth.

Minimal prep veneers are made in our dental laboratory. We will first of all take impressions and scans of your teeth, send them to our lab and we will begin make your veneers out of porcelain.

What Can Minimal Prep Veneers Achieve?
Minimal prep veners can:

Cost Of Minimal Prep Veneers
The cost of minimal prep veneers is €700 per tooth.
We offer payment plans on treatments over €1,000.
50% deposit is required and we accept a minimum payment of €150 per month.
We also offer financing via humm - which make it even easier to pay.

The Initial Consultation
At your initial consultation your cosmetic dentist will discuss all the options you have to achieve a beautiful smile.
A fully costed treatment plan will be provided - or several plans if there is more than one option.
Photographs will be taken so the digital smile design process can begin so you can get to see how your smile can look before any treatment is started.
Often moulds or scans of your teeth will be taken so a protype of your veneers can be fabricated.

The Process
After your cosmetic dentist decides you are suitable for minimal prep veneers the planning and design begins!
A digital smile design is created after discussions between you and the dentist on how you'd like your smile to be.
Once the digital smile design is approved then a 3D prototype of your veneers are made. These will be tried in so you can see what your veneers could look like.
Once you are happy with the design then your dentist uses a guided technique to adjust your teeth and a scan is taken and sent to the lab to have your veneers made.
A couple of weeks later you will return to have the veneers bonded.

Minimal Prep veneers are maintained just like your own teeth.
At home regular brushing and flossing is essential.
Frequent visits to your hygienist and dentist are also very important.

Other options you may have are veneers in a day, dental bonding, Invisalign or 6 month braces treatment.

Are there any age limits?
People over 21 years of age are suitable for minimal prep veneers.
Are my teeth shaved right down?
No. The process of minimal prep veneers involves reshaping your enamel slightly.
This is done in a very controlled way using guides.
A very small amount of enamel is adjusted and sometimes no adjustment is required at all.
Which is better - bonding or veneers?
They both do essentially the same thing.
Bonding is quicker, less invasive and less expensive. It is not suitable for every case however and can stain up especially in smokers.
Veneers are very good at creating a Hollywood smile. They also cover up teeth that are very dark or unsightly.
